Fuel Saving tips for your car you should know.

It’s a new week, a new month and #petrol is still scarce, we still have to face the frustration of queuing several hours for fuel despite many other work and family issues to deal with.

So I thought these tips as shared by Premium Times might be useful on how to improve the efficiency of your fuel to make it last longer.
1.      Watch out for adulterated fuel. As you may know, they burn faster than regular fuel.
2.      Ensure your tyres are properly inflated to the manufacturer’s specification. Deflation or improper inflation causes high consumption of fuel.
3.      Ensure no leakages in your exhaust.
4.      If driving below 80km/hour, avoid the use of Air conditioner.
5.      Watch out for the grade of engine oil suitable for your car.
Also if your everyday route is around dusty roads, changing your car’s air filter as often as mentioned in the owner’s manual will improve the efficiency of your fuel.

  1. Thank God, normalcy seems to be returning at filing stations. Good tips anyway.
