Household tip : The Blender

Don’t just wash a dirty blender after use under the sink, wash it by filling the blender halfway with water, add some dish washing soap and turn the blender back on for a few seconds (like you want to blend). Then rinse away the soap. To make sure all the soap is gone, you can put more water half way into the blender, turn power back on again for a couple of seconds, pour the water away and your blender is ready for use next time. I use just one blender so I must wash this way especially when I'm switching from using the blender to blend pepper to making smoothie.
