This is Faye and This is Meningitis.
As you are aware, I’ve had a pretty shit weekend with news, some of that news being that beautiful 2 year old Faye couldn’t fight any longer and died on Sunday 14th February 2016.
Having known Faye's mum since school through my best friend Emma, I know that she was a tough bird, but I didn’t know just how tough, strong and brave she is until now. Faye fought for 2 weeks with meningitis. (Her mum's friend wrote). Read more here
In order
to spread awareness about vaccination, the parents of the girl allowed their friend to share on Facebook the photos and video of how their 2-year-old girl
died of meningitis last Valentine's day
after battling the disease for two weeks.
Meningitis is a vaccine preventable disease available in routine immunization for children between ages 0-24 months.
