Video: Four Year Old Girl’s Call To Emergency Services Saves Her Mother’s Life


The importance of teaching our kids effective communication at an early age can never be over emphasized.
Be it on the phone, face to face or through other medium, it is essential parents build a good rapport with their kids from an early age to encourage them to be confident in communicating their needs to their parents, teachers and other appropriate people.

4 year old Suzie McCash called emergency services, 999 following her mother’s allergic reaction which resulted in a respiratory arrest in the hallway of their home in Tynemouth, England.

To the 999 Operator Suzie said “my mummy hasn’t answered yet, I don’t know why but she hasn’t answered yet, she is just sitting on the sofa doing nothing and her eyes are shut, was busy when they were out and now feels really poorly “. 
This short call brought the ambulance to their home.
