Parents, Kids’ Fashion Designers, Get In Here!
The
African kids and teens fashion week 2016 (AKTFW2016) starts its 3-days full
packaged fashion event today. According to the organizers, the event is
aimed at exhibiting and promoting the best of African fashion for kids and
teenagers. It’s also an avenue to bring together a community of stakeholders in
the fashion industry to meet with potential customers.
The
fashion event will showcase the creativity of African fashion designers and
celebrate the making of kids and teens' wears from local fabrics, hoping this
will serve as a catalyst to strengthen the African fashion industry globally. One
of the key objectives of the event is to encourage parents’ patronage of African
clothing for their kids and also teach them the beauty and value of the African
fashion heritage.
This
year’s three-day event starts with a fashion summit, followed by a
media parley and a wrap-up on the third day with a red carpet and fashion show
exhibiting designers, fashion houses and p-r-e-s-e-n-t-i-n-g……….kids and teen
models on the runway. There will be a rich
collection of African fashion clothing and accessories for kids and teens on
display from the best fashion experts in the industry.
Can’t wait to see the kids
rock the runway!
