The Wife of the President of Nigeria, Mrs. Aisha Buhari at the Maternal and Child health week in Cross Rivers State.


Improving maternal health and reducing child mortality are part of the MDG (Millennium Development goals) of the United Nations. I think it is commendable that the wives of Government officials are leading the campaign to improve maternal and newborn health in Nigeria.




The Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari Monday, visited Cross River State to flag off the 2016 edition of the Maternal New Born and Child Health Week as well as the launching of the Mediatrix foundation, a pet project of the Wife of Cross River Governor, Linda Ayade.

    Good. The Governors' wives too should take up campaigns on improving women and children welfare across the states.
