For the first time in history, Undocumented Immigrants in the United States were given a chance at the Supreme Court to voice their concerns about the immigration laws.
The argument is to determine whether the United States Government should unfreeze the DAPA (Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents) and other programs that would provide relief for millions of immigrant families and their communities.

The program
was announced in November,2014 by President Barack Obama but a temporary injunction was issued in February,2015 to block the program from going into
effect while lawsuit proceeds.
While some people think Obama’s
DAPA program is an illegal exercise of his authority with no basis in law or
the constitution, several groups and organizations united in the
#fightforfamilies think the Government should unfreeze the law as a large
number of people face deportation.
The judgement which means family
stability, work authorization and other benefits to many families came to a 4-4
tie amidst protests and rallies. Even as many as 30 undocumented mothers were fasting
outside the court to
bring attention to their plight.
