Mother’s Day 2017

Mother’s day is the day for families to show their appreciation to their mothers, a day set aside to celebrate motherhood and the mother figures in our lives such as grandmothers, godmothers, etc.
Mother’s Day falls on different dates in different countries. In the UK, Ireland, Nigeria and some other countries, Mothering Sunday (as Mother’s day is also called) is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of Lent (the Christian period of fast) - precisely on the 3rd Sunday before Easter Sunday.
